It is galvanism locomotive EF63. As a prototype precedent by bank engine for exclusive use of the Usui mountain pass in 1962 this plane is developed. The turn of speed is the same as locomotive EF62 form for main line, but various devices are made on brakes. 25 cars in all were deployed in the Yokokawa engine department , all planes and finished the job with Usui Line by commencement of practice of the Nagano Shinkansen.
